Built Green Verifier Jon Alexander is a certified Built Green verifier.
He has an extensive knowledge of the Built Green Single-Family and Remodeling Checklists. He chaired the committees that first established the Built Green verification process and the 4th and 5th Star levels. The revisions of the current version of the Built Green Single-Family Checklist are the result of a two-year committee process that Jon also chaired. He currently is an active member of the Remodeling Checklist revision committee.
With 16 years in the field as a contractor specializing in green building and remodeling, Jon has a great deal of practical advice on the most sensible way to use the Checklists and how to implement their specific items. In the Built Green program, he was the first to build a 5th Star home and the first to complete a 5th Star remodel.
