Jon Alexander is a pioneer in green building. As a general contractor he has specialized in green building and remodeling since 1991. Since that year, he also has been actively involved in the development and promotion of green building. Jon served on the initial Built Green™ program development committee as a green building contractor expert and continues to serve in that capacity for the 2008 Remodeling Checklist revisions. The revisions of the current version of the Built Green Single-Family Checklist are a result of a 2 year committee process that Jon chaired. Jon is one of the founders of the Northwest EcoBuilding Guild.
